我記得我以前說我不想要開博客
是因為我不想將我的興趣變成我的工作
因為它一旦成為我的收入來源
它就會為我帶來壓力
然後它就不會再是我的興趣

然後開了這博客兩個多星期
我已經開始感受到那種壓力了
WordPress它有一個非常強大的統計功能
我是可以知道關於每一個post每一天的瀏覽量
所以其實我很快就已經感受到
我的讀者比較喜歡讀哪類型的文章

然後普遍來說穿搭文是比較受歡迎的
我有覺得是因為我instagram的朋友大部分都是女生的關係
所以女生們會對時尚跟穿搭的部分比較有興趣
餐廳的文章也是關於甜品的特別受歡迎
所以此刻一直按著鍵盤也是非常有壓力的
希望大家不要嫌棄哈哈

太懶惰去另外多打一篇穿搭文
就讓我很快地在這邊說一兩句吧

也是之前說過的
像我這種每天穿破洞牛仔褲的人
每當要去不能穿破洞牛仔褲的場合都會很困擾
(點我看更多關於優雅穿搭的post)

然後我是那種很怕穿得很正式
不喜歡穿著什麼黑色晚裝裙到處跑的人
所以這些時候我就會拿出我的長白裙或是寬褲
搭一件雪紡的上衣
(其實是上一篇post那件)
優雅斯文卻又不失時尚感

好 回正題

每年的restaurant week就是一個增磅之旅
爭分奪秒預約自己想去卻又付不起錢的餐廳
(丟臉) (究竟我是怎麼好意思寫這一句…)
好的 所以就是把每天的午餐跟晚餐都排得滿滿的
在成為胖子的路上劃下重要的一頁 (汗顏)

我只能說Flint是一家很正直的餐廳
它給的份量都超級多
這個Dill-cured Akaroa King Salmon
它給了四厚面再另加好幾片flaxseed toast

三文魚有點被燻過的感覺
沾不沾蜜糖芥末醬都很有鮮味
肉的質感很滑
跟焗得又乾又脆的吐司配合得非常好

你看到的這個鍋是已經被我喝掉一大半的
它本來可是滿滿的一碗
很少Clam Chowder裡面有這麼多clams欸
所以說它真的很足料很划算
基本上是好喝的
只是稍微覺得有一點點過鹹

燈燈燈凳
重點來了
其實說穿了我會來這邊也只是因為它
它是從Nebraska來的肉眼扒

因為我比較喜歡吃生一點的
所以我點的是medium rare
就是喜歡它還流著血水
不好意思 說起來好像有點變態…

雖然應該不是用炭火燒的
因為炭火的消防牌照好像很難拿的 (我聽說)
但它那些一點點焦的感覺
跟炭火燒的好相似
香到不得了

然後那個肉香嫩幼滑
(不講那些血水流出來 免得你們覺得我太變態)
我本來並不是一個喜歡吃牛肉的人
所以當我的主菜也點牛排的時候
那家店必定是有相當的質素哈哈

不要跟我講中環地鐵站附近那家主打阿根廷牛的G餐廳
它跟這塊牛排並不是同一個層次的

最後來到甜品
其實我也說過我並不是一個喜歡吃甜食的人
但這個Tropical Meringue Tart我有吃完喔
因為熱情果本來就是有點酸酸的
所以它並不會太甜
恰如其分的醒胃

  1. Ohh! U love this resto ….
    Flint did bring me huge disappointment. Tried once during restaurant week and ordered exactly the same as yours. I think the smoked salmon was the best among the other courses, yet nothing special at all. My medium rare rib eye had a nice grilling aroma but was not beefy, quite lean and tough for my liking. The lemon meringue was again slightly sweet, and the cake base was too moist. Perhaps I had too much expectation since everyone love it and highly recommend to me.
    Sorry if it was so annoying that I had too much to comment on it.
    Haha.. I love your blog so much. Keep it up !!

    1. hey crystal:)) thanks for your msg! it’s always encouraging to see feedbacks.
      hmmm i was thinking if it was the problem of the particular piece of beef… coz i have been to flint on two other occasions and my steak has always been up to standard, like the above one was quite tender yet smooth with fat. so perhaps it is just sometimes when they source the meat, some pieces may not be as good.
      and for the cake, no one can lie with the cake base. likely that your piece have been left there for too long before it was served, so the cake base has absorbed the moisture. after all, it is a matter of luck i guess.
      go try hyatt steakhouse or 8 1/2, they never fail to impress me:)
